Headquarters/Build Center
There’s a reason why PGA Tour professionals regularly visit Hot Stix headquarters.
Our Scottsdale headquarters offers hitting bays for club fitting and testing; a putting studio; a corporate gift wall for all your clothing or merchandise needs; and a custom club building area where you can watch all your new clubs being built. All of Hot Stix R&D activities are coordinated here, so you may consult with some of the leading technical experts in the golf equipment industry.
Interested in hosting an evening corporate event or party? This facility is designed to accommodate groups up to 30. Utilizing the industry’s most advanced launch monitors, experience a closest to the pin at Pebble Beach #7 or any holes of thirty-eight world renowned courses. The Hot Stix Putting studio utilizes eight slow motion cameras to capture the unique characteristics of your stroke and putter to ensure you have the proper putter length, lie and loft.

| | | | | | Steve Grosz Master Fitter Platinum Club Director | Hailing from Crete, Nebraska, Steve once shot a tournament-record 65 in the Nebraska Open, a mark that lasted eight minutes. “In the group behind me, Curt Schnell shot 64. I followed it up with a 79, and got right back in my comfort zone at even par,” he says. Sense of humor aside, Steve qualified for a Nike Tour event in 1996 and says his ideal foursome would include his father, brother and Jack Nicklaus, with Jennifer Aniston as his caddie. A Kansas City Chiefs fan who answers to the nickname Flash, Steve knows golf technology but not music. “What’s an IPOD?” he says. Of course, what would you expect from a guy who accidentally completed PGA Business School 3 a year early because he confused the dates? Steve’s best fitting experience was working with Phil Sharpe, who broke almost every bone in his body in a skiing accident. “He is very passionate about golf, but simply cannot swing normal equipment,” Steve says. “Before giving up, he asked if there was anything we could do to enable him to play for a few more years. We built some very long clubs for him and he is now able to swing pretty much pain free.” | | | | Chris Ferguson Master Fitter Director of Fitting Technology | Chris makes his home in Phoenix, Arizona and has always hated his hair. So, he did the logical thing and shaved it all off. His nickname is Fergie and his favorite movie is Gladiator, so it comes as no surprise he loves hitting his driver. Moves it pretty well, too, once shooting a 61 in competition. He’s also made a rare double-eagle. His ideal foursome includes Charles Barkley, Donald Trump and Jack Nicklaus, though it’s doubtful he would get a word in. Chris likes the Arizona Cardinals and University of Michigan sports teams and says his best fitting experience was working with Lou Holtz. His IPOD includes everything but country music. What would he be doing if he wasn’t working at Hot Stix? “Fitting at my own store,” he says. | |
