Our flagship facility is the Hot Stix Golf Performance Center at Legend Trail Golf Club in north Scottsdale. This is on a private 10-acre club-fitting facility that features an expansive natural grass practice tee and range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker to complete a player’s six stage evaluation. The 2,000 square-foot building has two indoor/outdoor fitting bays and a luxurious lounge area where guests can relax before and after the custom fitting process.
Designed by Rees Jones, Legend Trail Golf Club offers bent grass greens and an amiable challenge that seems to capture a bit of Scottsdale's Old West spirit. This premiere course has a special essence of the Southwest Sonoran style of golf. With the "Long Trail" playing at a distance of 6,845 yards, you'll have to bring your "A" game to score well from these tees. |

Jason grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and naturally roots for the Green Bay Packers. However, he is conflicted, having attended the University of Minnesota, home of the Golden Gophers. Oh well, he enjoys watching Steve Stricker, he of Cheesehead fame, and his ideal foursome consists of Greg Norman, Arnold Palmer and John Daly.
Friends call Jason Lulu and he has a soft spot for animals, owning a dog and five cats. His IPOD is often playing Dave Matthews, U2 and The Killers, and his best memories in golf are of playing with his dad and kids. He clearly has a sense of humor. Asked to name his hidden talents, he says, “None of my talents are hidden.” Jason once fit a customer who made two holes-in-one in the same round after their session. |

Josh comes from Minot, North Dakota and is a real character. How can you tell? His nickname is The Godfather, his favorite movies include The Wedding Crashers and Weird Science, he once won a radio contest for his cart man impression, and if he wasn’t working for Hot Stix he would be a Wal-Mart greeter.
His best memory playing golf? “Playing in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in the rain and cold and beating Jim McLean like a drum,” he says. Josh can play, posting a personal-best 66 in competition. His favorite course is Pebble Beach Golf Links, followed closely by Minot Country Club. His ideal foursome would include his dad, grandfather and uncle, and his favorite club in the bag is a 37-degree chipper. Did we mention his favorite professional golfer is Steve Grosz? |

Believe it or not, the Litchfield, Minnesota product used to have a longer last name. Not surprisingly, friends call him Schooly. He may take some kidding, but Joe knows his way around the golf course, winning two national championships at Saint John’s University. His personal-best score is 65 and his favorite club is a driver.
Joe roots hard for the Minnesota Twins and the Duke Blue Devils basketball team, and says his father has been his biggest influence. His best fitting experience was helping former NFL standout Jason Sehorn and his dream foursome includes Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Rickie Fowler. His favorite course is Oak Hill Country Club and he’s still waiting for an invitation to play Pebble Beach Golf Links. |
