Kris Sollenberger
Certified Fitter
|
Kris, a Scottsdale native, answers to Solly. He was introduced to golf at a very
young age and had his first hole-in-one at age 11, which to this day stands as
one of his favorite golf memories.
That’s saying a lot for someone who has played Pebble Beach, Spyglass,
Monterey Pennisula C.C. and Cypress Point…The golf course that tops his “Would love to play” list…Pine
Valley! Good luck with that one
Kris, I will hold a good thought that one day you get that invite. His best competitive round is a 71 and
the most exciting tournament he has ever watched was the 2000 PGA Championship
at Valhalla, where Tiger Woods beat Bob May in a memorable playoff.
His ideal foursome is a very eclectic
group that includes Jimmy Buffett, Natalie Gulbis and George W. Bush. He's a
big fan of the Arizona Cardinals and his alma mater, the ASU Sun Devils. Kris is very into fitness and says that
if he weren’t working as a club fitter for Hot Stix that he would be working as
a personal trainer or in the field of Corporate Wellness. He lists among his special talents the
ability to “dunk a golf ball on a regulation ten foot basketball hoop” which at
5’7” is quite a leap…look out Spud Webb!
