Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas

This luxury Five-Diamond resort is located only minutes from downtown Dallas and features two 18-hole golf courses, five restaurants/lounges, a spa and all the amenities you would expect from an award-winning five-Diamond hotel. Located near DFW in Irving, the resort is surrounded by 400 acres of gently rolling terrain in the North Texas hills, and is regarded as the best sports club and spa in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area.

The TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas is home of the HP Byron Nelson Championship, one of the premier events on the PGA TOUR. Former champions include Ben Crenshaw, Payne Stewart, Nick Price, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Sergio Garcia, Fred Couples, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. The 7,166-yard, par-70 course was designed by Jay Morrish in 1982 and redesigned by D.A. Weibring and Steve Wolfard in 2009. The course offers a spacious locker room and practice facility with a driving range, chipping and putting green, and sand bunker. Just across the street is the Cottonwood Valley Golf Course. This par-71 layout measures 7,120 yards and was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Updated in 2006, water comes into play on nine holes.

Bobby was born in Ft. Lauderdale, but now calls Frisco, Texas his home. He played college golf at the University of Miami, where his coach, King Campbell, nicknamed him T.O. Not for Terrell Owens, but for “Tour Only.” Seems most of his clubs were available only to PGA Tour players. “He thought it was the most ingenious nickname,” says Bobby. “You could see him at tournaments three fairways over waving his arms spelling out TO. I think he forgot my real name for a while.”

Bobby’s best memory in golf is playing all the courses at Pebble Beach with his father, although he’s still trying to wrangle an invite to Cypress Point. His favorite club is his driver and he usually knows where it’s going, once posting a 65 in competition. His favorite movie is the “Wedding Crashers,” and be forewarned he is always looking for a good poker game.
